ABOUT ME
Dr. Deanroy Mbabazi is a civil engineer| Ag and Biological Engineer specializing in water resources engineering, mathematical and statistical modeling, AI/machine learning, hydraulics, and hydrology. He is currently designing engineering solutions to enhance cities' and natural ecosystems' adaptation and resilience against weather and climate variations, and working on carbon-water-energy coupling relationships across spatial scales (from point to remote sensing satellite scale). Dean earned his PhD in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering department at Texas A&M University. His M.S. and B.S. degrees were earned at the University of Florida and Makerere University respectively.
Research and work interests are in water resources engineering, environmental engineering, surface-vadose-groundwater hydrology, hydrological systems modeling, water quality, irrigation, water management, and satellite remote sensing
